Command line Internet

I was looking for command line tools for internet usage. I got a twitter client working in linux command line...and I had the old trusty lynx. But I needed to be able to do more.

So I was messing around looking for command line google search tools and pine and other stuff like that. Then I decided to try another txt browser Elinks. And it rules! Google searches are better...it has mouse support...I can do most things in gmail.

I am very happy with it so far.

Ok...first... how could I say the singularity is unevenly distributed. hrmm. I must have been tired or sick when I wrote that.

The world is changing very quickly...

This morning my wife and I had an interesting discussion after seeing a news program about an inventor trying to make walking support exoskeletons for the disabled.

I see this as a continuation of OSS and creative commons and the like. I sure hope I am right. Open Source Giant Robots! w00t!
