I was looking for command line tools for internet usage. I got a twitter client working in linux command line...and I had the old trusty lynx. But I needed to be able to do more.
So I was messing around looking for command line google search tools and pine and other stuff like that. Then I decided to try another txt browser Elinks. And it rules! Google searches are better...it has mouse support...I can do most things in gmail.
I am very happy with it so far.
